Calaveras County….in California’s Gold Country and High Sierra
Winter has arrived a bit early to Calaveras County. Last week snow could be found on the ground in Copperopolis and Valley Springs! This week the roads are clear and the drive to the snow is absolutely spectacular! Bear Valley Ski Resort kicked off their season this past weekend and will open seven days a week beginning this Friday, December 18th.
The holiday season is in full swing! Many holiday events have been planned througout Calaveras County and you can check out what’s coming up next on the Calaveras Calendar of Events. If you’re headed to Calaveras County and need a place to stay, check out the many lodging opportunities. There are also many Specials and Packages to take advantage of this winter season.
