Formed in 2006 as a non-profit association to celebrate that history in an effective manner, SPWCH obtains, preserves and restores historic items and disseminates knowledge of the area’s history to the general public.

EPSBA is dedicated to preserving, enhancing and promoting the unique resources of the Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway, a 61 mile stretch of Highways 4 and 89 from Arnold to Markleeville.

The area has the historic towns of Sonora, Jamestown, Columbia, and Groveland. It features Columbia and Railtown 1897 State Historic Parks, Dodge Ridge Wintersports (Hwy 108) and Yosemite’s northern gateway.
