Fall in Love with Calaveras: Bear Valley Snowmobile

Bear Valley Snowmobile

A winter adventure getaway had to feature some fun snow activities, and what’s more fun than snowmobiles for two for two hours? As Northern California’s premiere snowmobile rental destination,  Bear Valley Snowmobile was the perfect choice for ourUltimate Romantic Winter Getaway. And did we mention these are the only wilderness trails in California that you can take a self-guided snowmobile drive through?

Run by husband and wife team, Greg and Sandy Price (who also works for the Calaveras Visitors Bureau), Bear Valley snowmobile has been renting snowmobiles on the groomed trails of Lake Alpine and Spicer Reservoir with the US Forest Service for over 45 years, so you know you’re in good hands. If you’ve never driven a snowmobile through pristine wilderness, you’re in for a huge treat. With breathtaking views and beautifully groomed trails, you’re sure to enjoy the outdoors on a brand new SKI DOO ordered just in time for the new season.

Ride individually or together on a SKI DOO with hand and thumb warmers and electric starts for your comfort. Be sure to wear warm clothes, ski pants or water repellant pants, winter jacket and extra sweater, goggles or sunglasses, chapstick and a camera for capturing some of the beauty you’ll be seeing! Here’s a little teaser video to get you in the mood 🙂 You’ll also want to check out photos sent in by their happy customers!

Besides renting snowmobiles, Greg and Sandy offer VIP homeowner valet service to Bear Valley residents, SKI DOO servicing for those who own their own snowmobiles, and SKI DOO sales. And as we mentioned earlier, Sandy works for the Calaveras Visitors Bureau as our office manager, so we can personally vouch for their outstanding customer service and dedication to quality.
