2014 Calaveras Activities Guide

You’ll want to get your hands on one of our brand new Calaveras Activities Guides for 2014, which arrived TODAY! In the meantime you can get a sneak peak at our online version of the magazine, the inside centerfold section which includes a map of Calaveras and key regions, and the outside centerfold section featuring annual events, restaurant and accommodations guides and information on the Calaveras Jumping Frog Jubilee.

New for 2014, we included an article about the California State Parks 150th anniversary, featuring our very own Calaveras Big Trees State Park. We also added an expanded write-up on our Innovations in Tourism Award winners for 2013. These are outstanding local businesses that were voted top in their field by their peers.

This year’s front cover features Natural Bridges – a beautiful, naturally formed geological feature unique to Calaveras County and free to hike to and swim in or float on. Local, award winning cave photographer Dave Bunnell got the shot several years ago, and we think it’s outstanding. To visit Natural Bridges yourself, just follow the signs from Parrotts Ferry Road in Vallecito.

We hope you like the changes we’ve made. As always, it’s the definitive guide to Calaveras County events, recreation, attractions, lodging, restaurants, shopping, weddings, real estate, wine tasting and more. Best of all it’s FREE! Order your copy now and start planning your next Calaveras adventure!
