Owner and winemaker Brett Keller combines his love of wine with his passion for the natural beauty of minerals. Mineral Wines was founded in 2009 by the Henkel and Keller families, who grow grapes at the Cherokee Creek Vineyard in Angels Camp. Brett Keller has been making wine in Calaveras County since 2003. They source grapes from their Estate Vineyard, first planted in 1993 and from other vineyards in Calaveras County.
The Mineral brand is a cuvee of their passion for wine and their love for gemstones and minerals in their natural state. Each of their labels highlight minerals from their collection, captured in watercolor by renown artist, Frederick Wilda. Mineral Wines produces 13 different wines along with an award-winning Viognier, Merlot, Petit Syrah and Heritage.
