The Twisted Folk Concert series takes place at Twisted Oak Winery’s beautiful vineyard overlooking the rolling foothills at sunset. Enjoy this intimate, casual environment, live outdoor music by talented artists with regional or national recognition, delicious Twisted Oak wines and tasty eats you can purchase.
This is one of those magical events that is part of the essential, Calaveras music scene. Expect friendly locals, laid-back hosts, an opportunity to dance in the aisles as you like, and a casual welcoming attitude. Take the opportunity to drive to your parking spot using the entrance which takes you through the Rubber Chicken National Forest, “Land of Some Uses”. Carpool if you can. This event is very popular with locals.

Award winning Twisted Oak Winery wins yet more honors at the 2013 Riverside International Wine Competition. Their 2009 “River of Skulls” won a Gold medal, and also earned Best of Class for a wine based on the Mourvedre grape. The River of Skulls is made from 100% Mourvedre grapes grown at the Dalton Vineyard near Angels Camp in Calaveras County.
