Calaveras Wood Co. was created to celebrate our love for nature, creation, and working with our hands. Inspired by our deep appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds us and for our community, we aim to celebrate and showcase the profound abundance of talent in our area. We strive to create and curate high quality, unique, beautiful & ethical goods.
We partner with our clients to provide them with quality products, milled and made for their specific needs. From slabs to lumber, and furniture to unique and creatively designed decor, we pride ourselves on craftsmanship and approach all of our work with care and pride.
Wood and tree lovers at heart, our own goods are created from local wood that has been sourced from trees felled due to tree mortality from drought or beetles, or those that pose a fire or structural threat. We repurpose this wood in order to bring it new life and honor what was.
We are dedicated to reducing our ecological footprint and to doing our part for environmental conservation, in part, by helping to mitigate the environmental impact of large scale milling and other commercial wood waste operations. We mill, build with, create with, recycle & repurpose what would otherwise be treated as waste. With that focus, we also offer pallet recycling for commercial businesses.
