There’s something very charming about a clock shop and it’s no different with Somewhere in Time located in the Cedar Center in Arnold. Maybe it’s that we know clocks have been with us for hundreds of years, and the sale and repair of them has been important to generations of people. Maybe its because the mechanisms are fascinating with their cog and wheel structure, which are now popular steam punk design themes.

The shop in Arnold’s Cedar Center

With 27 years experience as hobbyist and professional and in business in Arnold since 2008, Somewhere In Time’s owner Chuck Gilmore offers a full range of time piece services on clocks ranging from electric mantels, wind up alarms and table clocks, 8 day walls and mantels, anniversary clocks, and chain and cable driven grandfather clocks. House call service is available for large clocks.

Watch batteries are replaced while you wait. Other clock repairs include decorator clock battery unit replacements, barometer adjustments, and ship’s clock repairs. Clock repair estimates are always free. Both formal and informal appraisal services are available.
On display are a large number of shelf, mantel, wall, grandmother and grandfather clocks for sale. Clocks are accepted for consignment sale. You can see some of their current selection in their
online store.
