  1. These look great! I love the nostalgic feeling I get while being in a cabin. My childhood was littered with wonderful experiences involving weekends at the cabins. Are pets allowed if they are kept in a kennel outside and never come inside the cabin?

    • Hi Jason, I’m afraid we can’t make that decision – try calling their reservation number at 1-800-444-7275. However, we do know that dogs are okay in the campgrounds at Calaveras Big Trees… here’s what it says about dogs in the park on the State Park website:

“Dogs are welcome in the park on leash in developed areas like picnic sites, campgrounds, paved roads and fire roads (dirt). Dogs are not allowed on the designated trails, nor in the woods in general. We have several miles of fire roads for you and your dog to enjoy; however, you will not be able to see any of the giant sequoias from these roads.”
