Calaveras Farmers Markets & Organic Produce

Angels Camp Farmers Market

Andrea Modrell | Angels Camp Farmers Market

Make the Farmers Market Your First Stop on a Visit to Calaveras.  Here’s why…

One of the best ways to get a taste for the local flare—anywhere you visit, but especially here in Calaveras—is by checking out the area’s farmers’ markets.

Not only will you get a sampling of the fresh foods the area has to offer from farmers and even chefs, but you’ll be exposed to local products (in Calaveras County that means plenty of wine), and you’ll have a chance to meet interesting locals too—musicians entertaining the crowd, store owners representing their businesses and longtime residents who you can prod to give you the inside scoop on what to do when you’re here.

So, want to get to know the locals, eat good food and settle down for some great entertainment with a glass of wine in your hand?  Make your first stop when you get here one of the great markets listed below (we’ve got eight of them weekly throughout the summer!).
