Presented by the Angels Camp Museum Foundation
The Foundation’s Lecture Series is a labor of love between the foundation and museum historians. The series starts in October and runs through April occurring monthly on the first Sunday of each month from 2:00-3:00 pm (No January lecture). This popular series has been offered since 2011 and take place in the Museum’s Carriage House.
Lecture attendance is $10.00 per person with complementary refreshments.

The museum is located on three acres with three main buildings. Upper museum at the street level contains a gift shop and Mark Twain exhibit. Lower level has a Medical exhibit focusing on medicine before and during the Gold Rush through the late 19th century into the early 20th century. Two lower buildings are over 10,000 sq. ft. each in size. The Carriage House is home to one of the largest collections of carriages and wagons in the nation. The lower building, the Pole Barn contains artifacts on mining, ranching and farming, and minerals, as well as a carpenter shop, printing shop and textile shop.
Visitors should plan on spending two to three hours for their visit. Self guided tours or mini tours presented by staff.
