Fire and the Forest Community Guided Hike

Join us at the North Grove Trailhead by the Visitor Center at 11:30am for a look at the North Grove through the lens of fire! The park has finished prescribed burns in the North Grove and we can already see the benefits. Learn about those and the complexity of fire in a giant sequoia mixed conifer forest on this hour and a half walk along the 1.7-mile flat North Grove Trail. Bring water and curiosity.

All events are offered free of charge to the public; however park entrance, parking, and/or day-use fees may apply.
