May 23
8:00–11:00 PM
San Andreas, CA
Step inside one of San Andreas’ oldest standing buildings for a night of paranormal investigation.
Originally constructed in the 1850s, this building has served many roles over its long history. It was once shared by fraternal organizations, including the Masons and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.), groups known for their private rituals and strong presence in Gold Rush communities. Over time, the space has also functioned as a general store, a social gathering place, and even a school during the town’s early years.
During the Civil War era, the building was used as an armory for local Union Guards—adding yet another layer to its already complex history. It also survived fires that destroyed much of San Andreas, remaining standing while much of the surrounding town was lost and rebuilt.
With so many different uses, generations of people have passed through these walls—each leaving behind their own stories.
This is a hands-on investigation. Guests will have the opportunity to use a variety of paranormal investigation equipment, including EMF detectors, spirit communication devices, and digital recorders, while moving through the space. Participate in an Estes method, or just sit back and see who comes through. Don’t know anything about ghost hunting? Don’t worry, we will explain the equipment and methods as we go.
Whether you’re experienced or just curious, this is your chance to investigate a historic location in a completely different way.
