Outdoor Recreation in Valley Springs is endless with the tri-lakes area offering boating, fishing, kayaking and camping at each of the lakes. And of course, there’s hiking, biking and equestrian trails, amazing birding and wildlife viewing and lots of wildflowers in spring. Photographers will enjoy the gorgeous vistas, and capturing the milky way at night is easy with our lack of light pollution.
In addition, golfers enjoy smoothly groomed fairways on La Contenta golf club’s championship course.
When recreating in our wildlife habitats, please help to keep Calaveras beautiful by following our Hop Lightly guidelines. On behalf of our wildlife, we thank you 🙂
