It’s not everyday you get a song written about you. Thanks to Jason Eady for featuring Calaveras County in his hit single of the same name, “Calaveras County” from his newest album “I Travel On.” After falling in love with Calaveras County during his time performing at Angels Camp’s Red Dirt and Gold Dust Festival, Jason Eady had no choice but to write a song about the place we call home.
Don’t miss your chance to join Jason Eady performing his hit single “Calaveras County” in person at Utica Park in historic downtown Angels Camp Monday, August 27 at 6:30 pm.
This feel good affair gives you the chance to kick up your heels and help a small town, just by enjoying an evening of entertainment with an up and coming country music rock star. But be warned, you just might fall in love with the locals. This special event under the stars will be a chance for locals and visitors alike to not only celebrate Calaveras County pride with rising country music celebrity Jason Eady (featured frequently by Rolling Stone magazine), but to also leave your mark on Angels Camp, helping to re-build the park’s play structure by buying tasty eats, refreshing sips, and entering the Angels Camp Community Club Disneyland raffle.
