Let’s Eat! 7 Family Friendly Restaurants in Angels Camp

Finding food can be a challenge on rural road trips–unless of course you’re visiting historic Angels Camp! Whether foodie-inclined or towing picky eaters, we’ve got you covered! Read on for the low down on where to get family friendly food throughout the quaint little town of Angels Camp this Memorial weekend!

 

1. Angels Creek Cafe

Looking for a family friendly breakfast or brunch? Look no further than Angels Creek Cafe! This adorably quaint cafe in historic downtown Angels Camp has all the classic breakfast fixins–including the best biscuits and gravy in town. With great prices and huge servings, your wallet and your tummy will thank you! Grab a seat early, their killer fare is available until 2pm.

2. Sugar Bakery

Let’s be honest, no road trip is complete until you find that one killer hidden gem of a bakery–Sugar Bakery is definitely it! From bagels to scones, baker Kris fits a huge variety of goodies into this adorably tiny shop. Situated in historic downtown Angels Camp, less than five minutes from the fairgrounds–her cinnamon rolls are hands down the best thing ever!

3. Crusco’s Ristorante

Talk about memorable Italian food! With beautiful, casual atmosphere, this is a place where you can eat and run or take a deep breath and linger. We regularly have visitors tell us they’ve come back to Angels Camp JUST to eat at Crusco’s one more time. Take a peek at Crusco’s authentic Italian menu and you’re sure to find dishes and deserts the whole family will love.

4. Cascabel

Here in Angels Camp, we are blessed with loads of great Mexican food. From La Hacienda, to Angel’s Mexican Kitchen, to Mary’s Taco Truck there’s an option for every palette. Even with so many options, Cascabel, the newest joint on the block, is shaking things up–hailed by many locals as the most “authentic” Mexican food in Calaveras County. 5. Mike’s Pizza

What road trip is complete without pizza? Regularly voted the best pizza in the motherlode, enjoy Mike’s Pizza’s fun festive atmosphere, not just for their friendly staff and wide variety of options (including everything from shockingly perfect barbecue to optional gluten free crusts) but also for the games and lively entertainment.
