It’s that time of year when we pay tribute to some of our nation’s great presidents with a great glass of wine – or two. Presidents’ Wine Weekend has become a winter institution here in Calaveras, this year we’ll be celebrating the 19th year of the event and all 22 Calaveras County wineries will be participating! If you’ve been looking for a chance to get up here and sample our region’s fine wines, this is your weekend.
With the purchase of a $20 commemorative wine glass, you are entitled to a free ‘limited-tasting’ flight at all participating member wineries, Saturday through Sunday. Full tastings will also be available in each tasting room for an additional fee.
On Saturday only, you’ll be able to purchase glasses on Main Street in Murphys in front of the Native Sons Hall – at 389 Main St – or throughout the weekend at these locations:
The Calaveras Visitor’s Bureau in Angels Camp
Bunting Wines on Main Street in Murphys,
Chatom Vineyards on Highway 4 in Douglas Flat
Coppermine Winery in Vallecito on Highway 4
Frog’s Tooth Vineyards in Murphys
