Majestic Pines Chalet – Accommodations
The recently remodeled 2-story Majestic Pines Chalet in Big Trees Village features an open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen, soaring ceilings, oversized deck, central heat and a cozy wood stove (firewood provided in cold season), three bedrooms, five beds, two full bathrooms, and accommodations for family members of every age. The chalet also includes a propane barbeque (propane included) washer and dryer, dishwasher, and coffeemaker to make your stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible.
For the little ones in your life, the stay will be made even more enjoyable with free use of the chalet’s provided high chair, pack-n-play, swingset, stroller and more than 100 kids movies. The whole gang will stay entertained between the pool table, foosball, air hockey, corn hole, ping pong, board games, indoor arcade basketball game, WiFi, cable TV, huge variety of DVDs, dozens of board games, and more.
Majestic Pines Chalet – Bedrooms
Majestic Pines Chalet is a two story home that accommodates 10 guests in in three bedrooms. The first bedroom (main floor) includes a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom (upstairs) includes a king-sized bed. The third bedroom (upstairs) contains a twin-sized bunk bed as well as one full-sized bed.
Majestic Pines Chalet – Exterior Grounds
The aptly named Majestic Pines Chalet is nestled amidst the lush Stanislaus National Forest, just minutes away from skiing, swimming, fishing and so much more. Guests have access to the entire home, and surrounding lot as well as to the mountain bikes, snow toys, and more provided on site. Guests who choose to pay an access fee, can also gain entry to nearby Big Trees Village Recreation Center (image below) for pool access and more.

The closest restaurants are Camp Connell General Store and The Lube Room Saloon. Just West of the chalet on Highway 4, you will find Calaveras Big Trees State Park (pictured below), and just West of the state park on Highway 4, you will find the charming mountain town of Arnold, CA with shops, restaurants, gas, groceries, art studios, and activities happening year round.
East of the chalet on Highway 4, the next business center can be found at Bear Valley, CA just across the border of Alpine County. Featuring four season outdoor recreation opportunities at Bear Valley Adventure Company, and full High Sierra winter sport options at Bear Valley Resort. - Ready to unplug? There is no AT&T cell phone service in this area, although Verizon does have service.
- Staying during a power outage? Let the good times roll. Your hosts have got you covered with a back-up generator to power the property in case of any outages.

Majestic Pines Chalet – Four Seasons
🌷In the spring you will enjoy seeing the first signs of mountain life beginning to emerge from their winter slumber, as well as great late snow play above the snowline and festive Spring events and wildflowers going off throughout the county below the snowlin.
💦In the summer months you’ll have access to the Big Trees Village Recreation Area (see gallery below), which includes two swimming pools, playground, tennis courts, bocce ball, snack shack and recreation room, for a small fee. You will also enjoy High Sierra wildflowers such as Mariposa and Tiger lily, which come late to these high elevations.
🍁In the fall you will love the spectacular fall festivals throughout the region, as well as the High Sierra fall colors at Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Sourgrass Recreation Area, and Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway–a breathtaking drive that people come from all over the world to enjoy.
