Tamarack Lodge, is a family-run and family-friendly lodge with self-service kitchen, available for both winter and summer recreational activities in the High Sierra. The lodge has 13 rooms, common areas, and guest cooking facilities situated at 7000 ft. on Highway 4. They also have campsites, RV site and picnic areas.
Tamarack Lodge’s owners are great at coming up with fun activities to delight the entire family. From constructing snowshoeing trails and a sledding hill area on the property (which is available for a day-use fee without staying at the lodge) to hosting a nightly marshmallow roasting event that begins at 7:30 pm each night. The nearby Bear Valley Adventure Park (perfect for kids) is a wonderful recreational facility with bungee trampoline, ropes course and rock climbing.
