Willie Nelson Outlaw Country Music Weekend

The stars are aligning this August. In one weekend, not only do we have two country music legends (one long established legendary performer, and one legendary festival in the making) but the stars are aligning for you to top off the best country music weekend of your life with a solar eclipse.

On August 18th the legendary Willie Nelson is rocking the house at Ironstone Vineyards Amphitheater. This SAME weekend, the up and coming Red Dirt and Gold Dust Music Festival returns to Angels Camp for it’s second annual round up of up and coming performers featured by the likes of Rolling Stones, among others.

After basking in the epic outdoor Ironstone Vineyards + Willie Nelson glow, why not come out and make a weekend of genre-defying country music magic?  You know you’ve been waiting for the chance to say, “I saw them when…” Tickets for the August 19th family friendly Red Dirt and Gold Dust event held at the Angels Camp Fairgrounds are only $25 a pop.

Heck, why leave it to a star-studded weekend? Stick around through Monday August 21st to catch the 2017 solar eclipse in style. Talk about a magical weekend!

I was lucky to see Willie Nelson at the Cow Palace in San Francisco about 35 years ago. OMG! I am dating myself. That concert is one of my best memories! Willie is a musical force to be reckoned with. He does not seem to slow down!
