The Wild West Still Exists at the Murphys Hotel & Saloon

The authentic Murphys Hotel & Saloon serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as their home-made Pub Grub, in an atmosphere straight out of the 1800s. During the winter months, a fire burns in the old fashioned pot bellied stove while patrons gather at the 30 foot long wooden bar to enjoy house made appetizers and a wide variety of cocktails, draft beer and local or international wines. The bar itself is made up of one whole plank and has been in place since 1856.

The saloon sports moose, elk and deer heads donated by local hunters, prints of Custer’s Last Fight and Sheridan’s Charge at Winchester and a 31 star American flag. On weekends, the old time saloon transitions to a local hot spot with frequent live music, a big screen TV for sports events and a juke box.

Murphys Historic Hotel’s Outdoor Patio Bar is open in summer until Midnight.
