Event Details

Water Tower is a Los Angeles-based bluegrass, old-time, and punk rock band that was founded in 2005 by multi-instrumentalist & vocalist Kenny Feinstein. Formerly known as The Water Tower Bucket Boys, the name was changed to Water Tower in 2012.

While their lineup has evolved, Water Tower has maintained an ongoing reputation as a force to be reckoned with, with a viral social media presence & a growing horde of loyal fans known as “The Owls.” Water Tower is fueled by their masterful song-crafting, a fiercely DIY approach, and a genre-bending sonic identity that fuses bluegrass/old-time revivalism with a distinctly punk rock edge. Their influences range from Bill Monroe & Foghorn Stringband to bands like Rancid & Black Flag.

The band’s current lineup consists of Kenny Feinstein (lead vocals, guitar, fiddle), Tommy Drinkard (vocals, banjo, guitar), Jesse Blue Eads (vocals, banjo), Taylor Estes (vocals, bass), and John Seltzer (backing vocals, mandolin). The group divides their time between working on new material, playing shows & festivals, and busking at local freeway off-ramps. Their debut album as Water Tower, ‘Fly Around’, was released in 2020. It was co-produced by Don Bolles (The Germs, 45 Grave) & Ariel Pink and features guests including Willie Watson (Old Crow Medicine Show) & Ron Reyes (Black Flag). The band has released several singles (“Take Me Back”, “Lose Everything”) & bootleg albums (‘For the Owls,’ ‘Live From Los Angeles’) since then, with a second studio album due to come out next year.

In 2025, Water Tower performed at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and the Vans Warped Tour. Most recently, they finished a tour supporting & backing up Nick Hexum (311).

Jimbo Scott & Yesterday’s Biscuits is a genre-sprawling band that attempts to fill all of the space available in Americana Music. With songs that jump from Country, to Rock, to Folk and Bluegrass to Soul, the band offers a lush demonstration of instrumental prowess dripping in premier vocal performances. The pairing of Jimbo’s earthy charisma and storytelling with the virtuosic musicality of the Biscuits makes this band a delightful force to be reckoned with.

Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area and described by Tahoe Weekly as “Honest Honey-Eyed Americana”, Jimbo Scott casts reflections around the room, flashing from honest self-deprecation to cinematic retrospectives. He has entertained audiences far and wide, including the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, the Kate Wolf Music Festival, the Ten Mile Creek Revival, Whalerock, the Strawberry Music Festival, and Salmonfest.

Whether solo or with his progressive Americana band, Jimbo Scott and Yesterday’s Biscuits, Jimbo is a rising force in the West Coast Americana Scene, not to be missed and best to be consumed with reckless abandon.

It’s hard to describe Patrice Pike’s music as one particular genre. It’s part rock, part R&B, some soul and jazz appear in the mix, and that’s not to mention all the world influences. Though for listeners of Pike’s music, they would describe it not as a genre, but as an experience. Music is meant to inspire, to evoke emotion, to create a shared experience of the human condition.

Pike’s music and well-crafted lyrics create their own melodic solution to how we can navigate a world full of heartbreak with hope. Even in her songs that don’t shy away from hard topics such as poverty, gun control, and different forms of tragedy, Pike’s music is always about hope and finding the strength to continue.

Whether she’s singing, playing the guitar, or rocking out on percussion, Pike’s music reminds us to be compassionate with ourselves and others, and to celebrate all that this life has to offer.

After the complete implosion of the live music business due to the pandemic, Patrice has re-grouped and is currently working with Hunter Hendrickson and John Bush, both formerly of Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians, among other projects. They are developing a new collection of music with their band, set for release in 2024.

About Quiet Riot

Quiet Riot remains one of the most influential bands in hard rock history. The group became a breakthrough force in the 1980s with Metal Health, famously recognized as the first heavy metal album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Powered by era-defining songs like “Cum On Feel the Noize,” “Bang Your Head (Metal Health),” “Mama Weer All Crazee Now,” and “The Wild and the Young,” Quiet Riot helped open the door for the Sunset Strip metal explosion that followed. Event Details

Grover Anderson hails from Calaveras County and—like its former resident, Mark Twain—revels in the tragic, the mundane, and the absurd. Anderson has made a name in the Sierra Nevada foothills, writing tall tales masquerading as songs—sometimes funny, sometimes deadly serious, always honest.

Raised in the small town of Murphys, California, Anderson grew up devouring Americana in the form of music, literature, and history. While studying theater at UCSB, he earned cash busking, his clever lines snagging the attention of locals, tourists, and bar owners who eventually invited him to come play inside. After an extended stop in Oakland, he returned to the hometown that inspired him. His songs—narratives of adventurers undone by ambition, small-town characters trying to play it cool, or bare reflections on his life—merge Twain’s folksy storytelling with music triangulated somewhere between Lyle Lovett, John Prine, and Garth Brooks.

Over the last few years, Anderson has shared stages with acts ranging from Shakey Graves to The Charlie Daniels Band to America, appeared at festivals including Alaska’s Salmonfest and Millpond Music Festival, and brought his brand of story-driven folk-rock to audiences in more than half the states. He’s often joined by The Lampoliers—Josh Certo, Dave Duggan, Marshall Henry, and a bevy of other talented collaborators—with whom he produced his 2021 album All the Lies That I Have Told, showcasing his knack for murder ballads and small-town odes. 2024’s Hold Tight Together turned inward, drawing inspiration from the realities of pursuing ambitions while raising a family. His 2025 singles “Hart” and “Naked Phone” reveal how his songwriting ranges from poignant to playful, and Apple Music Radio’s Ty Bentli premiered two of Grover’s singles (“Willie Nelson” and “Sticker”) on his show. When he’s not playing music, he moonlights as a high school teacher at a school named for another American storyteller, Bret Harte.

Earnest yet wry, rooted in tradition yet wholly his own, Grover Anderson continues the Gold Country legacy of turning everyday lives into unforgettable stories.
