Enjoy their outstanding wines in their tasting room, Saturdays 12-5 or call for additional tastings by appointment. In the summer, the vineyards hosts Hot August Nights; live music for your enjoyment on Friday evenings after hours.
Prospect 772’s gorgeous 25 acre estate is perfect for your wedding, private party, company retreat, or business meeting. They offer indoors and outdoors options for small groups and parties up to 300. With special permits they can accommodate up to 899 guests.
One of Calaveras County’s premier wine makers, Prospect 772 was ranked #32 for its grenache/syrah blend “The Brat” in Wine Enthusiast Magazine”s Top 100 Wines of 2012. Here’s how they described it:
“An incredibly concentrated, silky blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Nothing shy about this wine, inspired as it is by the great Chateauneuf-du-Papes and yet undoubtedly Californian. Make that mountain Californian. With baked cherry fruit and baking spices throughout and serious grip and weight, this is one heady and delicious wine.”
