The Arnold Independence Day Parade and Sierra Nevada Arts & Crafts Festival starts with a classic, small-town parade with vintage cars, local businesses, emergency services, schools and civic organizations represented. It starts on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:00 am from Independence Hall to the parking lot at Hazel Fischer School on Dunbar. Parking is limited, so there will be a bus from the Dignity Health Clinic in the Big Trees Shopping Center leaving at 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM. If you’re in the area when it’s happening, be sure to check out this rural favorite. And get there early to find your perfect spot.
The festivities continue with the Sierra Nevada Arts & Crafts Festival in the grounds at Bristol’s Ranch House Café at 961 Highway 4, Arnold CA – a tradition that has been an important part of Arnold’s 4th July celebrations for about 45 years. This part of the event features fine crafts, fine art, gourmet foods, and continuous live entertainment.
Situated among the pines and redwoods at the 4000-ft elevation, the festival features over 50 booths of original crafts & art in all media – exhibited by the artists, featuring woodwork, metal sculpture, yard art, pottery, jewelry, quilts, soaps & spa essentials, fine art, clothing, scarves, dolls, birdhouses/feeders, fused glass plates & wind chimes, hand-painted furniture, photography, kid’s toys, hats, purses, succulents, leather and more, Sample gourmet foods and face painting for the kids – and kids at heart.
