Soar El Capitan to Half Dome. Yosemite from above is awesome! Follow Tuolumne Meadow’s Grand Canyon down from Lyell Glacier. Also, sunset flights, or cool morning adventures to Death Valley, from custom pilot flight training programs, to honey moon escapes, to fire detection and suppression missions with the government forestry services. Our experienced pilots have been selected both for their mature decision making and judgement skills, and their first hand knowledge of the Sierra to provide in depth tours. They maintain their certification with frequent recurrent training, and through regular flight tests with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) inspectors and forest service wildfire mountain flying. Each of our pilots have several thousand flying hours in mountainous terrain making them well qualified for flying in the Western US. Aircraft are maintained beyond FAA standards since they also fight wildfires. This is an opportunity to experience the thrill of riding in real wildfire planes complete with state of the art communications technology and thermal infrared cameras and 3-D map creation tools designed for tracking wildfire.
