Murphys Community Park

A charming small town park with picturesque gazebo, picnic tables, children's play area and creek to play in and bocce ball court across the road.

Murphys Community Park

Murphys Community Park is one of our favorite places to enjoy in historic Murphys. Grab a sandwich from Aria Bakery and bring the kids here to play on the playground or splash and swim in the creek.

The Murphys Community Club holds fun musical events here (known as “First Fridays“) on the first Friday of the month from June through to the beginning of September. These wonderful, casual events in this pretty setting are free for all, and include delicious food you can purchase, prepared on site. Local wines (of course) and other beverages are also available to purchase. Bring your lawn chair and be prepared to kick up your heels with the locals!

And those aren’t the only musical events hosted here – the Calaveras Arts Council also presents their annual Music in the Parks series which includes the Murphys Community Park.
