Hwy 4 and Hwy 89 will be closed Saturday, July 11, 2026 for the Tour of the California Alps, aka Death Ride. Please plan accordingly.

Road closure schedule:
Highways 89 and 4: Closed beginning at 5:00 AM
Monitor Pass (Highway 89): Reopens at 12:00 PM
Ebbetts Pass (Highway 4): Reopens at 4:00 PM
