Mother Lode Bonsai Club Free Workshop

Got questions on bonsai?  Find answers at our club workshop.

Following its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, the Mother Lode Bonsai Club will conduct a hands-on workshop at the San Andreas Central Library, 1299 Gold Hunter Road (off Mountain Ranch Road) in San Andreas.

Club members and the general public are invited to bring their bonsai trees, including nursery stock, for the free workshop. Repotting, styling and pruning ideas will be suggested by club mentors. Participants are encouraged to bring their tools, table covering and soil mix if available.

“Whether you are new to bonsai, have a limited knowledge of this living art, or have some past experience, we invite you to attend,” said Bev Meyerhoff, club president. “There will also be a raffle for bonsai materials and members’ trees will be available for individual purchases.”
