Music in the Parks Summer Concert Series

The Calaveras County Arts Council presents Music in the Parks, an admission-free, 10-week summer concert series that brings live music to various communities throughout the county. Concerts typically take place every Wednesday evening from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM during the months of June, July, and August.

The Black Irish Band is an acoustic folk group based in the California Gold Rush Country of the Sierra Nevada. Their music style is characterized as Celtic/Americana, blending traditional Irish, Scottish, and Italian folk with American roots music. The band is known for its “historically-accurate” storytelling, focusing on the working-class immigrants who built the railroads, worked the mines, and sailed the high seas
