Music in the Parks Summer Concert Series

The Calaveras County Arts Council presents Music in the Parks, an admission-free, 10-week summer concert series that brings live music to various communities throughout the county. Concerts typically take place every Wednesday evening from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM during the months of June, July, and August.

Nedra Russ and Julio “Inglasses” Guerra form the duo nJr, a musical group based in the Sierra Foothills (Calaveras and Amador counties) that performs a blend of Americana, Blues, and Roots music. Their style is described as capturing the spirit of the backwoods and reflecting the experiences of the blue-collar, hard-working class through both original compositions and hand-picked covers.
