Find your perfect wilderness experience in the Stanislaus National Forest. Be sure to visit the Calaveras Ranger District for updated maps and guides to the endless recreation available. Much of the Arnold Rim Trail (pictured) falls within the Stanislaus National Forest, as does the Sourgrass Recreation Area, Wa Ka Luu Hep Yoo Campground, Calaveras Big Trees State Park. Bear Valley, Lake Alpine, and much of the Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway.
