Valentine’s Events: All Ages Chocolate Festival
7th ANNUAL HEAVENLY CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL

Murphys’ First Congregational Church’s 7th Annual Heavenly Chocolate Festival is a dream come true where guests can enjoy unlimited handmade chocolate treats. This is a festival of treasured family recipes along with unique flavor combinations using rich dark, creamy milk and white chocolates. Come and enjoy the 60+ entries plus a chocolate fountain where you can create your own blend of tastes or create an always favorite “S’more”. Tickets are available at the door or by phone at 209-728-3141. Prices range from $12 for adults and children over 8 and $5 for children under 8. Hot & cold beverages included. LIVING HISTORY DAY – ANGELS CAMP MUSEUM
Sat. Feb. 10th | 10:00am-4:00pm I Angels Camp Museum
History comes alive every Saturday as docents staff the Artisan’s Exhibits in the Mining and Ranching building of this spectacular (3 acre!!) museum. The Artisan’s Exhibits include a Carpenter’s Shop, Print Shop and Historic Textile Shop. Each shop will be staffed by informed docents ready to demonstrate their respective craft. Murphys Historic-Walk Tour
Sat. Feb. 10th | 10:00am-11:00am I Murphys Old-Timer’s Museum
Dedicated to the preservation of history and artifacts of Murphys and generations since the Gold Rush era, this volunteer run museum is quaint but fascinating. Featuring an impressive collection of valuable, antique Native American baskets made by local Miwok open for viewing on weekends, the museum staff offer a free guided tour of historic downtown Murphys every Saturday, rain or shine at 10:00 am. Just meet your highly knowledgeable guide at the museum and stroll along to hear about the fascinating history of this Gold Rush era downtown–obscure questions welcome!
